Stella was born and raised in China. She relocated to Vancouver, BC in 2020 for law school. During her years at UBC Law School, Stella was a volunteer interpreter at Rise Women’s Legal Centre, which provides pro bono Family Law services to women and gender diverse people in British Columbia. Stella started at Specht & Pryer in the summer of 2022 and joined the firm as an associate upon the completion of her articles in 2024. Stella mainly assists clients with family law disputes involving divorce, parenting, property division, and support.

Prior to Specht & Pryer, Stella was an experienced conference interpreter.

In her time off work, Stella enjoys exploring new restaurants and cooking. On weekends, she may be found at local food markets or at the tennis court.
